Dave Newham – Executive Chair
Dave is the owner of North Valley Water Solutions and North Valley Cart Care. He was Anthem’s Business Person of the Year in 2012 and 2022 and was the President of the the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Dave will be the 2025-2026 President of the Anthem Rotary Club.
Linda Pizzo – Treasurer and Vice Chair
Linda is a member of ERA Group, a global network of business owners helping mid to large size companies improve their bottom line. Linda’s background is in accounting, and she spent most of her career serving nonprofit organizations. In her hometown, St. Louis, she served on the board of a nonprofit that advocates for and assists women in the criminal justice system to support their successful transition back to family and community. She moved to Anthem in 2017 and searched for a nonprofit to support. She joined ACTS in 2022.
Cherie Chavez – Events Chair
Cherie is an Air Force Veteran and former military contractor for the 21st Space Wing and Sheppard Air Force Base. She has also taught English and writing at New Mexico State University and Gillette College in Gillette, WY. In addition to her involvement with ACTS, she is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
Sarah Omer – Secretary and Community Outreach Chair
In addition to her roles with ACTS, Sarah is also Secretary/Treasurer of North Anthem Area Assistance Providers (NAAAP) and a member of Anthem Giving Circle (AGC). She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Foster Children (CASA) and former Wednesday Club (ACC) President and VP of Programs.
David Murphy – Communications Chair
David owns a marketing agency (Nvent Marketing) and co-owns a full-service printing company (Print North Valley), both in Anthem. David is also a member of Anthem Rotary Club and Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce.
Jeff Huff – Volunteer Chair
Jeff is a seasoned REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona
Properties. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every transaction. Jeff is a buyer’s agent and listing agent, and specializes in relocation and investment properties. He has passion for Anthem Rotary and the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce. His positive impact in real estate and the community are the foundations of his professional success.
Chuck Finzer – Volunteer Associate
Chuck has been an AZ resident since 2005 and he moved to Anthem in 2017. He has run a real
estate practice in Anthem since 2018 and he is well known as “The Tallest Realtor In Anthem.” Chuck is an active member of the Anthem Rotary Club and Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce. He participates in many fundraising projects and is a financial donor to multiple Anthem charities.
Betsy Crawford – Board Member At Large
Betsy joined ACTS shortly after moving to Anthem in 2020 and has served as the Volunteer Chairperson from 2021-2024. She and her husband Rod are active volunteers working. They worked on the Festival of Trees and other events over the years. Betsy is also a member of the Anthem Giving Circle.
Jill Tetsell – Board Member At Large
An AZ resident since 1988, Jill and her husband Dick moved to Anthem in 2004 and have run a real estate practice here since 2005. They are members of the Preferred Business of Anthem, Anthem Rotary, and the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce. Jill and Dick are long-time supporters and sponsors for ACTS and ProMusica.
Joe Alvarez – Board Member At Large
Joe moved to Anthem 11 years ago from Florida. He is currently President of Navigreat Fine Foods and has served as President of Anthem Rotary. Joe currently serves on several Boards including Musical Theater of Anthem, Anthem Rotary, Prostate on Site Project, and Knights of Columbus; Joe and his wife are also part owners of the local Anthem restaurant By the Bucket.
Dave Gregson – Board Member At Large
Dave is a US Army veteran and a retired sales and marketing executive with experience in the pet industry, the vitamin & supplement industry, and a number of start-ups. He is a 12 year resident of Anthem. In his “spare time”, he can be found on the golf course.
Lauren Cameron – Associate Treasurer
Lauren moved to Anthem ten years ago from the Boston area and she is a retired business
manager and financial analyst. She has been a member of the ACTS Holiday Home Tour committee for three years, serving one year as Chair.
Jewelee Tompulis – Events Associate
Jewelee moved from Illinois to Arizona in March of 2020. She was a preschool teacher for 17
years and was a floral designer. She enjoys entertaining and helping people decorate, especially at Christmas. Jewelee worked on the ACTS Festival of Trees and Anthem Giving Circle’s Purses for a Purpose.
