Service to Neighbors

What We Do
In November 2024, our two organizations announced a new community partnership to improve the quality of life for Anthem-area residents, particularly seniors and those needing assistance at home. Over the past four months, Foothills Caring Corps and ACTS have trained more than 70 Anthem-area residents as volunteers for the program.
Volunteers provide services such as non-emergency medical transportation, mobile meals, friendly visits, handyperson services, shopping, and tech assistance, which are designed to help individuals remain living independently in their homes. The goal is to have no neighbor left behind.

An FCC staff member will get in touch with the requester within 48 hours.
ACTS and FCC have strong volunteer bases, and together, we can more effectively mobilize and coordinate volunteers to meet Anthem’s growing community needs. By pooling our expertise and resources, both organizations aim to build a community where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to live their best lives.
Interested in volunteering to support Anthem neighbors in need?
ACTS continues to encourage more Anthem-area residents to volunteer their time and skills to support local seniors in need of home support services. Volunteer orientation sessions are available each month at the Anthem Civic Building.
The orientation sessions provide information on volunteering tips and best practices. All volunteers must complete a background check. For more information on upcoming Volunteer Orientation sessions, contact Donna Guerin at Foothills Caring Corps at donnag@foothillscaringcorps.org or (480) 488-1105 x104.
